IB Diploma Programme
The Diploma Programme is offered by the International Baccalaureate for students aged 16 to 19. At 10X, we offer it as a rigorous 2-year pre-university programme in Grades 11 & 12. The programme is designed to equip students with the basic academic skills needed for university study, further education and their chosen profession.
The programme model highlights the key, interconnected features of an MYP education
- The IB Learner Profile and the core are positioned at the centre of the programme.
- The core requirements of theory of knowledge (TOK), the extended essay and creativity, activity, service (CAS) broaden the educational experience and challenge students to apply their knowledge and understanding in real-life contexts.
- Surrounding the learner are the Approaches to Learning (ATL) and Approaches to Teaching (ATT) skills, which build essential competencies like critical thinking, communication, and self-management.
- Students study six subjects concurrently ranging from Languages to the Arts. The DP prepares students not just for university – but for life, as confident, compassionate, and future-ready individuals.

How the IBDP Curriculum Shapes Learning at 10X
The IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) at 10X is a globally recognized pre-university qualification that combines academic rigor with real-world application. It balances breadth of learning with depth of inquiry, encouraging students to think independently, explore across disciplines, and develop the skills needed for success in higher education and beyond.
The DP Core at 10X
At the heart of the IBDP is the Core, which enriches learning by connecting knowledge, reflection, and community. It challenges students to step outside textbooks and build essential life skills.
• Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
Students question assumptions, analyze how knowledge is constructed, and learn to navigate uncertainty across different fields of study.
• Extended Essay (EE)
A 4,000-word independent research project that develops academic writing, critical analysis, and time management skills, while allowing students to explore topics of personal interest.
• Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS)
Engages students beyond academics through service initiatives, leadership projects, sports, and cultural activities—building empathy, collaboration, and social responsibility.
